Fridge made it through it's 1st power outage day after delivery without any affect, so far. Finish on outside is beautiful and so far is smudge free & fingerprint free. Bins are very sticky and hard to pull out & push in without sticking and hanging up on sliders. They seem cheaply made & not well finished for sliding, which is their main job? Fridge overall seems to have less volume, vs same size Kenmore it replaced. Seems volume of rickety door shelves are larger (but shelves feel less able to handle the weight?) , which took space for internal shelves & bins ( which definitely hold less volume than old fridge internal shelves & bins)?
To sum it up, I will be suprised if this new fridge will make it to 10-15 yrs as proposed.
Externally, yes, but the cheaply made internal accessories (shelves, bins, etc) are going to break pretty soon, I am afraid.
Disappointing from a Whirlpool product.

Purchased about a month ago. Our first side by side. Love all the drawers and shelves on the door but the wire rack is quite useless. Not really sure what it's for. Not happy with the "smudge proof" stainless steel. It's beautiful but I'm constantly wiping smudges off. The freezer door shelves are quite small. Haven't found anything that will fit in them. Love the water and ice dispenser in the door !!

Performance is good but I had to have it delivered three times because of defect (metal bubble) on right stainless steel panel. Al three refrigerators had the same problem that appears to be a manufacturing and quality control problem. All my refrigerators have been Whirlpools and this is the first time, I encountered a problem

After a month I have only good things to say about my new fridge. Due to my space this is the only refrigerator in all the models that would work for me...unless I wanted the old traditional freezer on top model.
The smudge proof finish is great...cleans off well if there are fingerprints. I don't like the unmovable shelves but manage to cope with the spaces they provide. It is fairly quiet while running, the freezer space is smaller due to the unit size but again is acceptable. It is a nice looking refrigerator. Water and ice machine not hooked up yet so I cannot comment on that issue.

As you are not able to hear how loud the refrigerator is at the store, we find that it is a lot noisier than our old refrigerator that was 30 years old. As everyone is making them bigger than they used to be, we needed one a little shorter as to fit under the kitchen cabinets. There is only 2 people living in our home, we did not need a BIG one. Lack of variety to choose from....only "1" to choose from. Not impressed

Stainless Steel looks so beautiful with little maintenance.Price was quite fair. It does tend to make some unfamiliar sounds occasionally, but it chills/freezes everything nicely. I love the ease & convenience of ice water and/or ice for single servings. Just fabulous!

My refrigerator went "belly-up" on January 10, 2019. We searched for a replacement with size, style, and price as our three qualities we were wanting. We found it in our new Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator. Of course the size could have been a little wider but only by 2 inches for the space we had for it. This Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator we found could not have been better. We are completely satisfied with all the features and the price was just right.

I bought this model because it was the only one that would fit in that particular space in my kitchen. However, while I am happy with the cooling etc. I am not at all happy with the loud sound it makes. The whirr and hum when it is on is really loud compared to my old refrigerator!!!

I've had the fridge for about a week. I'll agree with other reviews: it's kind of loud for a modern fridge. It's not obnoxious, but if everything else isn't running in the house, I can definitely hear it. Not having more ways to adjust shelves is annoying, and the freezer is insanely small. That being said, it does seem to work well, and it looks great. It's also solidly built.

We bought this refrigerator a few weeks ago. Water/ice not connected yet but so far it is keeping things cold and is not really noisy. The finish is great...prints wash off easily.
Size of my space made this the only refrig. I could purchase other than the freezer on top/refrigerator on bottom but it seems to fit my needs well other than I really wanted the freezer on bottom style

This is a beautiful refrigerator, but it is taking a while to get used to the side-by-side design. The freezer shelves are very narrow and the pockets in the door are useless. We're a two-member household and have to juggle to get a week's frozen goods put away. This is more a problem with the amount of space we had available and the desire for a water & ice dispenser. It's a bit loud when it runs, but has a high energy rating and keeps the food cold (which is more than I could say for the frig this replaced!). Give some thought to how much freezer space you'll need before selecting this model.
